What maintenance should I do on my air conditioner?

• Change your filters • Treat drain line with vinegar or bleach.

How often should I change my filters?

• Change the filters when they are dirty, don't wait a month if they are dirty in a week.

Are expensive filters better?

• Usually the pleated filters are more expensive and filter more particles from the air but also restrict a large amount of air flow. Most return air grills are not sized large enough to use a very restrictive filter. Suggest using a basic style fiberglass air filter unless you increase your return size.
